The India – AI Impact Summit 2026 will take place on 19–20 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organised by the Government of India under the IndiaAI Mission, the summit brings together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders and technologists from India and abroad. The focus is on how artificial intelligence is being used at scale and what responsible progress looks like in real-world settings.
Conversations at the summit are guided by three core ideas: People, Planet and Progress. These principles shape discussions around inclusive growth, environmental responsibility and long-term value creation. Together, they offer a clear lens through which AI’s social, economic and ethical impact is examined.
The programme is further structured across seven thematic focus areas, ranging from human capital development and safe, trusted AI to innovation, resilience and the use of AI for economic and social good. These themes connect policy, research and application, helping ground high-level conversations in practical outcomes.
Running alongside the summit is the AI Impact Expo, scheduled from 16–20 February 2026 at the same venue. The expo features themed pavilions that showcase AI applications across sectors such as healthcare, governance, climate and mobility, offering a closer look at how these ideas are being put into action.
Together, the summit and expo create a space to understand how AI is shaping development priorities, public policy and innovation ecosystems — not through speculation, but through ongoing work already underway.
